Due to a couple of unfortunate events in life, my dream to get my FFL became a need and not just a dream. I have always been someone who loves the outdoors, and anything related to guns. Our area was lacking in a good gun dealer that was personable and available. So, at the end of 2017 Trapper Daves became an official business.

We chose the name “Trapper Dave” because it has always been a nickname of mine since I was a young boy. The nickname was used because I started trapping things at the young age of 12, and I have always enjoyed hunting and trapping.

The biggest thing that sets us apart from other dealers is that we are friendly and generally care for our customers.  We are also approachable and available outside of business hours. We are knowledgeable regarding the care and use of a firearm. I am an avid reader and have gleaned a lot of useful information over the years to help provide knowledgeable input regarding guns.  I enjoy meeting new people and talking to them. 

It is my desire to help our customers be comfortable in their purchase and to educate them on how to care for their firearm so it will last a very long time.

My wife and I have been a team since 2007 and have had lots of adventures together.  We both enjoy being involved in our church and relaxing with our cats. We look forward to the many new friendships that come along with owning our own family business.
